Client Testimonials
The cleanse was great. I had a ton of energy and I never felt bad or without energy. I have all positives!
Thanks!
David
From our initial meeting, I had three goals when we first discussed a training regimen. Number one, I wanted to lose 25 pounds; number two, I wanted to try and lower my blood pressure through a fitness routine so I could discontinue my blood pressure medication and number three, I wanted to run a 5K race with my granddaughter in May, 2010 (even though I had never run before). With your help and guidance and through the routines and exercises that you worked up for me, I was able to achieve two of my three goals. By following the workout guidelines and suggestions that you recommended, I was able to lose more than 25 pounds and I am now able to consistently maintain my blood pressure at the recommended level for my age without my medication. I am sure that had I stuck with the running phase of the training that you recommended, I would also have ultimately been able to accomplish my third goal. However, in my book, two out of three “ain’t” bad!!!
Thank you very much for working with me. I appreciated your patience and willingness to listen and/or change my exercise/workout routine as necessary when I encountered some difficulties during the time you worked with me.

Let me rave about Rebekah! I was delighted at our initial consultation here in Ocala to see a driven, motivating, friendly person who made me feel I could accomplish anything. I was weighed and measured and we discussed my diet. As a post-menopausal lady I had battled with easy weight gain and yo-yo dieting. Rebekah GOT that completely. She formulated a wonderful routine based around my Total Gym (of which she is a knowledgeable advocate), exercise balls and weights. We raced through all kinds of routines and floor exercises and, after the final stretches at the end of each session, I felt completely worked out, strong and positive. Right before Rebekah left, I had just opened the pool up for the summer and we were going to start doing some water aerobics which I was very excited about. To find a trainer who was so flexible was a delight for me she would have cart wheeled round the world with me if I’d wanted to! Rebekah is inspirational, professional and motivational. She understands personal boundaries, is never invasive and never wastes your time (which is money!). Her energy is pure and I always looked forward to my training sessions. Not once did I get that “EUUUGH” feeling before she arrived! I would recommend Rebekah Barnes to anyone who is serious about losing weight (did I forget to mention that I did?), feeling stronger and happier with themselves. I miss her very much and wish her every success – she deserves it. Thank you, Rebekah, for everything

Rebekah Barnes was my personal trainer for a year and a half. She is the perfect trainer in every respect! She is knowledgeable about the anatomy and very tuned in to each person’s particular needs and personal goals. My upper body strength increased remarkably during the time that I worked with Rebekah. She keeps the process interesting and challenging. She is able to vary routines creatively, always careful about form and safety. In addition to her professional excellence, Rebekah is a kind and delightful woman.
I would recommend her to anyone, young or mature!

My husband, Guy, has Parkinson’s disease which creates poor mobility as a result of muscle rigidity and causes falls. Rebekah became Guy’s personal trainer in February, 2009 working with him three days a week, focusing on areas important in increasing his strength and mobility. As a result, Guy is far more confident in his walk and steadier on his feet. I would recommend Rebekah for whatever your needs, as she will personalize the training for you.

I participated in Rebekah’s Total Body Conditioning and Deep Water Aerobics classes for more than 1 year. She provided us with fun and innovative ways to keep fit. If someone could not perform a certain exercise, she always found an alternative that worked the same muscles without bodily harm. She changed class content often, so no one was bored. And we had fun! On a personal note, Rebekah helped me “fine tune” my workout routine. I was having aches and pains, not always doing moves that were good for me. She did a thorough assessment, corrected my techniques and designed a workout that is “right” for me. I now enjoy exercising more, as it is less painful and less time-consuming! Rebekah is skilled, knowledgeable and also very empathetic.

This is just a note to thank you as a personal trainer and class leader. I was fortunate to use your services both in a one-on-one and in a class setting. The one-on-one provided me individual workout plans that I utilized in my home with limited amount of equipment and motivation. The few sessions that we worked together provided me an excellent workout plan that I still have today. The group setting involved first-class equipment with your instructions, timing and motivation that encouraged me to work to a higher level each and every time we were together.
I’m impressed in how efficient the sessions were run and how much I have benefited as reflected with my lower blood sugar numbers. Your experience, your laugh as well as your educational background provided new and rewarding workouts each day. You were extremely candid and inspiring and allowed the group to have fun. Your passion for what you do is evident in every instruction. I really felt that you were one of the team and that makes all the difference.

Rebekah Barnes was the first physical trainer that I ever worked with and was I glad I selected her. She adapted my work-out to my temporary physical limitations as well as planned for my continued strength training growth and overall well being. She’s patient and committed to her clients. I couldn’t have asked for a better trainer.

As a certified personal trainer, Rebekah is very knowledgeable and able to communicate extremely well and make it fun too!! Being Snowbirds from Northern Mich., we always looked forward to the Fitness class’s Rebekah had to offer. Rebekah cares about the total fitness of a person–Body, Mind, and Spirit. She was an enabler to help me achieve better health goals as well as my husband.

I was fortunate to experience Rebekah’s teaching style in both regular and deep-water aqua classes plus stretch classes and ‘boot camp’ which utilized Gravity equipment. She was always upbeat, prepared, and remarkably lively – even at 8 a.m. Even though I was a less than ideal student in boot camp, Rebekah was always willing to work with my shortcomings and make it a good and useful experience for me and I gained a noticeable amount of strength – especially in my arms.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Rebekah. She is a very professional and caring person. Her boot camps offer a challenging and varied workout. Rebekah’s water aerobic classes, deep and shallow, offered a variety of exercises with a touch of fun. She is a very structured, but yet compassionate trainer.

For over 1-1/2 years I attended Rebekah’s Total Body Class. It was always a total “feel good” start to my day. Rebakah’s professionalism, sincerity, knowledge, and concern for her clients makes her a topnotch trainer. She always had full classes, a testament to her popularity, her willingness and ability to motivate, vary and individualize instruction. Each session was devoted to exercising our total body in a variety of ways that kept us interested. I became addicted to the exercise regime and how I felt because of it. The addition of Rebekah with her talent and commitment will be a plus for any client or organization.

Group classes were fun and challenging. Every part of the body was worked and alternatives were given in case of inability to perform due to knee or shoulder replacements. Rebekah did not hesitate to help anyone who may have had physical problems and was prepared to perform emergency assistance in case someone felt faint or ill. She is an upbeat woman whose personality permeated her classes. Rebekah was a wonderful personal trainer. She had patience and persistence and knew how to help bring out the best in her client. She designed training schedules based on the individual’s needs and ability to perform and would follow-up after each session. She was reliable and trustworthy and would be an asset to any physical training program.

Rebekah Barnes is a wonderful fitness instructor. She did many classes and always had a wonderful routine to help us get in shape and stay in shape. She helped numerous people with their health problems as their personal trainer. Along with all of her expertise, she is a real sweetheart!

Thank you so much for all your hard work and the interesting classes. You always displayed such patience and good humor in dealing with us. It was so good to have an instructor who knew how to teach, always showed up on time, and stayed engaged throughout the class. I would highly recommend you to any prospective client.

Rebekah’s Total Body class met 3 times a week. Attending these workouts was an important part of my fitness regime. Her regiment included many different exercises and equipment (Bosu Balls, balls, bars, bands, and dumb bells) that worked all major muscle groups, thus helping me to stay toned and fit. It was enjoyable working with Rebekah. She has a warm, outgoing and caring personality and worked well with clients and staff.

Before I got to know you and just how interesting and fun your class times (both indoor & outdoor) would be, each and every time I saw your friendly smile and fantastic outgoing personality I would say to myself “there’s a young lady who will go far in life”. Every day you showed that physical fitness was not just a job for you; it was your passion. It took me quite some time to get involved with your classes – thinking I might have a difficult time doing all the aerobics. Your encouragement was all that I needed, and in the end how glad I am that I was wrong. The only reason I didn’t do Total Body Conditioning was the size of the class vs. the space in the room. It certainly was a popular one. I can attest to you giving it your all (and then some) with Balanced Body. This is a strong testimonial of your devotion to physical fitness, and it is as sincere as sincere can be.
